We are located in the front shop of Mama Mila’s Italian Restaurant nestled in the Arts District of Columbia. Run by “the Gems”, Gemma and Gia Martinico, we are setting out to bring a very special part of our culture to you! Our Gelato is made right here in Middle Tennessee and it is the closest thing to Italian Gelato that you will find here in the states.
Our gelato has 5x the butter fat content that you would find in a scoop of ice cream and 3x more than the majority of gelato shops in America.
We are using a local dairy in Nashville that specializes in an ultra cold, slow fermentation process. 65% of the ingredients are sourced from local Tennessee farms. The remaining 35% are imported from Italy!

Our Gelato is served in 3 and 5 oz cups, topped with a freshly made Pizzelle!
We will also be serving unique Italian coffee creations including Affogatos, Moka Pots, Whipped Coffee and more!

Please inform us of any allergies prior to ordering as there are several flavors that contain common allergens. Every scoop is topped with a Pizzelle. If you are Gluten-Free please let us know beforehand so we don’t put the Pizzelle on top!
There are several flavors that contain nuts, eggs and gluten.
All current summer flavors are Gluten Free.
All flavors, except for DF Limoncello, contain egg.
The only flavors that have nuts in them will be clearly marked, but please ask if you have any questions! We have separate serving scoops for nut-free customers.
Our only coffee offering that is Dairy Free are the Moka Pots.

Gelato has 5x the fat content of regular ice cream. It’s rich and decadent (imagine 5 scoops in 1!) and that is why we serve it in these portions. You can always add on a 2nd flavor for $1.50 and you’ll receive 6 oz total.

Every flavor is a minimum of a 3 oz scoop. If you’d like to add an additional flavor for $1.50 you will receive a 6 oz cup total, with (2) 3 oz scoops.
